My name is Iva – a wedding photographer, a mother of two wonderful children, and someone who believes that true photography begins where posing ends.
Motherhood has enriched me emotionally, taught me to see beauty in the simple things, and deepened my appreciation for every moment. I returned to wedding photography with renewed inspiration, full of ideas and a desire to capture those tender, genuine, and unposed moments that make a day unforgettable.
Why wedding photography?
Weddings bring together joy, emotion, tenderness, and chaos—all at once. It is this natural outpouring of emotion that inspires me. I believe that beautiful wedding photographs are born from genuine reactions and heartfelt emotions, rather than staged scenes. That is why I look for more than just images—I seek feelings: laughter, tears, embraces, and those fleeting moments that will stay with you forever.
Emotion, light, composition
For me, wedding photography rests on three essential pillars: emotion, light, and composition.
Emotion is at the heart of every photograph. It brings life, depth, and meaning. I believe the best wedding photographs are those that take us back in time and let us feel that moment all over again.
Light is my partner. I love natural light—the kind that glides over the bride’s veil, embraces faces during the first dance, and illuminates every smile. It brings an atmosphere and softness that are difficult to recreate artificially.
Composition is the framework that brings everything together. Clean lines, balance, and rhythm create harmony within the frame. But sometimes, breaking the rules is what creates art—an image that makes you pause and feel.
My style
My style blends documentary and artistic wedding photography. I don’t direct scenes or impose set poses. I love natural movement, spontaneity, and genuine emotion. When couples forget the camera is there, that’s when the magic happens—natural wedding photography that tells a story without words.
When I photograph, I strive to create more than beautiful images—I want to capture feelings that are warm, genuine, and timeless. I believe true wedding photography is poetry written with light and emotion.
Since becoming a mother, I see the world in a new way-with greater calm, depth, and meaning. I seek those same qualities in my photographs: emotion, sincerity, and humanity.
